FOUNDATION EXCAVATION

Based on your construction plans, we can perform the foundation excavation precisely to suit the formwork or ICF contractors’ needs. We are here to set the next stage of the project up for success. See below for all of our foundation excavation services.

Foundation Excavation

We layout the foundation based on the construction plans and the existing survey pins. We then excavate the foundation to the required profiles and depths for the footings and the city services as required. We work with the geotechnical engineer to ensure all footings are on suitable load bearing ground. Finally, we will perform soil remediation as required by the engineer.

Backfill Foundation

We will backfill the building foundation and drainage zones to meet code requirements and leave the perfect grade for future hardscaping and landscaping.

Foundation Drain

We can supply and install rainwater leader drains and foundation drains around the structure as required by code and connect them to the city infrastructure ready for permit inspection.

Soil Remediation

We work directly with the engineer to excavate any soil which is unsuitable as a load-bearing material. For any unsuitable areas, we will refill them with approved compacted load-bearing material to the required grade.
